G8 battery charge should be more than 60%.

Steps to Upgrade Huawei G8 RIO-L01 to B340 Stable EMUI 4.0

Download B340 marshmallow build, and then extract.
Move the dload folder along with Update.app file to sd card primary folder.
If your device is at B180 then turn off and enter into force update via [press and hold volume center and power button at once]. Then proceed.
If your device is at B301 then type *#*#2846579#*#* in the dialer.
Tap Software upgrade -> SD Card Upgrade – > OK at the project menu.
Wait for the process to get completed, and auto reboot.
