Preps| Downloads:

Perform backup for all your important data before going to start.
Ensure at least 70% charged battery of Mi 4.
Enable USB Debugging at Mi 4. Go to >> Settings >> Developer options. [Easy guide].
Setup ADB and Fastboot drivers in your PC. [Easy guide].
Download TWRP Recovery 3.0 from this link. [Link].
Download SuperSU from here. [Download Link].

Install TWRP Recovery 3.0.

Download TWRP .zip file and rename it as “recovery.img”.
Copy the SuperSU file into Mi4 internal memory.
Move TWRP renamed file into ADB and Fastboot installed folder at C: drive. [C:\Programe file86x\ ADB folder]
Then open command prompt window there at ADB folder. By holding press the shift key and right click at any white space at the folder. >> Then click “open command window here” at the popup menu.
Now connect Mi4 to PC while it’s in Fastboot mode. Then type below commands one by one.
