Preps| Downloads:

• Backup the necessary data on S6 Edge plus completely.
• Do charge the battery of S6 Edge more than 80%.
• Install the Samsung latest USB driver on your PC. [Download here].
• Enable USB Debugging Mode on S6 Edge plus before processing. [Settings > Developer options] – [Complete guide].
• Also, Enable “OEM Unlock”, navigate to device’s Settings > Developer options.

Steps to Root Galaxy S6 Edge plus and flash TWRP recovery.

1. If you have downloaded all the above files then connect S6 Edge to PC and copy both Kernel and SuperSU zip files on its internal storage.
2. Now extract and then open Odin tool on the PC. [By double clicking 10.x.EXE file].
3. Boot S6 Edge plus in recovery mode. [With holding pressed the buttons Volume Down+ HOME+ POWER simultaneously]. Release on vibration then press VOL. UP.
4. Again connect S6 Edge to PC while in downloading mode. If ID:COM turns blue and Added message appears on the Odin Screen then S6 Edge is connected properly. Otherwise reinstall USB driver or change the port.
5. Now click AP button and add the TWRP-3.xxxxxxx.img.tar [Ensure that re-partition option is unchecked].
6. Click “START” and wait for flashing gets finished, PASS text appear and device reboots.
7. Now turn off the device again and boot into TWRP Recovery. [Via holding pressed VOL. UP+ HOME+ POWER for a few seconds.
8. On Recovery menu tap “Install” > “Choose zip from SD” > locate and select Kernel zip > Swipe to confirm.
9. Also, flash SuperSU zip file with similar method as of kernel.
10. Now on recovery menu tap “Reboot”, to boot S6 Edge plus normally.
