How to install TWRP on OnePlus 6

1. Connect the OnePlus 6 to the PC via the USB cable it came with.
2. Copy the TWRP ZIP file to OnePlus 6. Make sure not to disconnect the device from PC.
3. Rename the downloaded TWRP file on the PC to twrp-op6.img.
4. Now open a command window inside the folder where you have the TWRP file, twrp.img. To Open the command window on your PC open the TWRP folder, and then type cmd in the address bar of that folder’s window, hit the enter.
5. Reboot your device into bootloader/fastboot mode. For this run the following command:

   adb reboot bootloader

6. Now install the TWRP temporarily by running the follwing command

   fastboot boot twrp-op6.img

7. Tap ‘Keep Read Only’ Button to not allow for system modifications.
8. To Install TWRP recovery permanently tap on Install button, and then select the TWRP file you transferred earlier (twrp-installer-enchilada-3.2.1-0.zip).
9. Reboot your device once done
10. You will now have TWRP on Oneplus 6.
