Steps to Install Huawei Mate 9 Nougat B122 OTA Updates

  1. Download the full firmware package and then extract on the PC.
  2. Find update.app file inside the extracted folder and then move it to the “dload” folder at micro SD-card home directory. [if dload is not there, then create a new folder with “dlaod” name then copy the update.app file].
  3. After copying gets completed, unplug and turn off Mate 9.
  4. Then press and hold VOL.UP+ DOWN+ HOME buttons all at once for a few seconds.
  5. Finally, the update process initiates and complete with normal reboot.
