Guide to Update Rooted Oneplus 2 to OxygenOS 2.2.0 OTA Update

And many OnePlus 2 users updated his smartphone to Oxegen OS 2.2.0. Today I received one friend message he tells me how to update my Rooted Oneplus 2. So now we decided to show you the method. Preparation:

• Charge your OnePlus 2 phone up to 50%.
• Use original data cable to create the connection between your computer and your phone.
• Backup your important data.
• Download USB drivers for Oneplus 2: Link
• Download OxygenOS 2.1.2 OTA Update: Link
• Download OxygenOS 2.2.0 OTA Update: Link

Note: This update for rooted phones so first you have to unroot your smartphone or Flash the
2.1.2 ROM and then apply the new 2.1.2 ROM.

Steps To Update Rooted Oneplus 2 to OxygenOS 2.2.0:

Step No 1. Download Oxygen 2.1.2 zip file and Oxygen 2.2.0 zip file from the above
links.

Step No 2. Now connect your Oneplus 2 smartphone to Computer via USB cable.

Step No 3. Now transfer the downloaded files to your smartphone.

Step No 4. Once the files transferred then boot your phone in recovery mode: Guide Here

Step No 5. Once your phone in TWRP mode. Tap the Install button and Flash the Oxygen 2.1.1 zip file.

Step No 6. Now Flash the 2.2.0 OTA update zip file.

Step 6. After flashing both the zip files. Go back to the main menu and Reboot system.

Congrats! Now your Oneplus 2 smartphone is running on the OxygenOS 2.2.0.
