  • Use an original data cable for smooth connectivity

Steps to update Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop crDroid Custom ROM

Step-1: Connect the Galaxy Tab 2 with your PC, Via USB Cable and Copy both the downloaded files crDroid Custom ROM .zip and Gapps .zip on the root storage of your device [Don’t extract / don’t copy into any subfolder]

Step-2: Now disconnect your tablet from the PC. > Turn-Off and boot into Recovery Mode.

  • Turn on your tablet while holding press the Volume Down + Power buttons at once to enter into Recovery Mode.

Step-3: Now on CWM Recovery, perform Wipe data/factory reset → Then Wipe cache partition → and then by navigating to Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache.

Step-4: Now from the main Recovery Menu and choose install zip from SD card → choose zip from sdcard → Now Navigate by Volume button and select crDroid .zip file and press Power button to confirm installation to begin

Step-5: Once the installation of crDroid.zip completes, Repeat the step 4 once again but this time select the Gapps.Zip file and confirm installation by pressing the Power button

Step-6: once the installation of both the files crDroid.zip and Gapps .zip is completed. From Recovery Menu, reboot your device by selecting “Reboot system now”.

Step-7: Now your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will be rebooted, and may take about 5 minutes for the first time after installation.
