Extract the TWRP recovery file on your PC. You will get “Recovery.img” and “MT6580_Android_Scatter.txt”.
Also, extract SP Flash tool and then open that extracted folder and double click on “Flash_tool.exe” file to run the Flash tool.
Turn off your device. Also, remove the battery if removable.
Once the Flash tool is launched. Click on the “Scatter-loading” tab.
Then on the pop-up window locate and select “txt” file which you have on TWRP extracted folder.
Next Click on the “Download” to start the installation process.
Then instantly connect your L5 (with battery inside) via USB cable to PC. Press Vol. Down or UP key to detect, the device quickly.
Flashing will begin with a progress bar appears. And gets finished when the Green button displays on the screen with OK.

Steps to Root Tecno L5

Connect Tecno L5 to your PC and then Transfer the downloaded SuperSU file on the root folder of device internal memory.
After copying SuperSU. Turn off your device and then boot into recovery mode. [Press and hold Vol. Down+ Power Button]
Once Tecno L5 is on recovery mode main screen, select “Install” and then locate/ select SuperSU Zip file that you have copied. Next confirm to flash.
