I followed these instructions to the letter and liberated my note 2 running KitKat 4.4.2. Once it booted and I logged into my google account it began updating and restoring all of my apps. There were a couple that weren’t compatible but it worked and now my phone runs smooth again plus has new features. Thanks for sharing these instructions with us.
